Spanish By The River was one of the best hostels we stayed at during our Costa Rica trip. The atmosphere felt like being in a quiet and cozy home rather than a hostel. The common room area was spacious and impressive, and the kitchen was well-equipped with a large stove and plenty of cooking utensils. The hostel also had a vast library with books in different languages. The staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room we stayed in was excellent value for money, with only two beds. The patio with hammocks, grill, and stunning view was a definite highlight. We highly recommend staying here!
